Very aromatic. Strawberry jam, plum, black currant, lilac, cinnamon, Asian five spice, toasted pine nuts. This is very oakey. Velvety. Warming at 14.5% alcohol but well-integrated with the acidity. This would make a perfect winter wine. Tannins coat and grip the tongue providing an outstandingly long finish of slightly bitter tongue tingling white pepper lasting minutes.
