The Grey Label Shiraz 2007 from McLaren Vale is full bodied with fruity to integrated aromas of cherry, black cherry, pine and liquorice. The tannins are dusty and refined (decant for 30 min to 1 hr) and the finish is long. It should evolve nicely for the next 5 years at least. My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 91 pts. Tasted June23/10 at Wine Align Wolf Blass Premium Wine Tasting event.

Sumptuous wine to finish the year 2012. Full-bodied wine with very smooth, long finish. Got better after decanting. Tasted December 2012.
A few years ago, this wine was bottled as Brown Label Classic Shiraz. With the label change WB also dropped the Barossa grapes from the blend making this more focused regionally. It's a big wine that can use some time on its side. Expect a fruit forward, full-bodied, modern style. Pair it with rich foods and decant before serving.
Quite nice.
