I'm a big fan of albariño, so I was keen to try this one from an unusual source. I was suitably impressed - it's a real winner! I like the lush fruit profile balance with lively acidity, kind of like pinot gris meets sauvignon blanc. A nice fleshy mouth feel and a pleasant long finish too, and the modest 12.5% ABV frame is a surprising and welcome plus. A refreshing sipper and excellent accompaniment for seafood of any description. Tasted December 2025.

Ripe and fragrant, this has a lovely, lifted nose of Mandarin orange, citrus, leesy mineral, lime, honeysuckle, and floral aromas. The medium to medium-full bodied palate is dry with pleasing orange, citrus, and floral replays on the flavour profile. Acids are clean and well-balanced, while the long finish is long and clean. Tasted Oct. 2025. Score: 90+ pts
