It's only wine but I like it
Good complexity here for a $13 merlot. Fruit leans toward the blue/blackberry spectrum, with interesting herbal notes and black pepper mixed in. Good concentration and some fine supporting tannin. A bit of alcohol burn on the finish, but who's complaining for $13? Easy multiple bottle purchase. Tasted Nov 2016.
