It's only wine but I like it

Reds from the area around the lovely town of Montepulciano are unfortunately overshadowed by those from Chianti and Montalcino. Sadly, we don't see enough of them here in Ontario. Based on Prugnolo Gentile (aka Sangiovese), this is a fine Tuscan red. A bit riper than the norm, but with bright red cherry fruit, brisk acidity and nicely balance oak. Price is nice too (I think that I got it on sale). Good intro to Vino Nobile. Tasted Apr 2018.
