One seldom seems Barolo under $30, and this is actually a good example to boot. Has evolved into garnet shade. The...

Rarely do I see many Barolos under $30.00. I was impressed and thought this one was a great quality wine. Medium body with a wonderful bouquet. Currant, cherry, leather. Nice dry tannin. I will buy a few more to enjoy during the week..lol. I like to keep my better bottles for weekends and special evenings

Nov 2012: Quite faded at this point to a brick red. Aromatically quite appealing, with lots of fruit (a surprise), as well as the more earthy notes you'd expect. Attack has many of the same flavours, but the finish is jarringly astringent. In the end, this seems more like a facsimile of Barolo rather than the real thing.
