Aggregate final score from judges at the 2014 National Wine Awards of Canada. June 2014
Still quite dusty and reserved on the nose - this is far from prime drinking. There's typical cherry fruit...
This is a very well made pinot from estate grown fruit in a light and difficult vintage. Pretty strawberry/red...
A very impressive offering, more robust and rustic than elegant but with distinctive juicy cherries, vibrant acids...

The 2011 Rosehall Run JCR Pinot Noir, aged in French oak hogsheads for 16 months, has pleasing aromas of spice, wood, vanilla and raspberry. It is a light to medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine; with crisp acidity, subtle to refined tannins and a medium to long finish. It is a food friendly and sipping wine; drink now 2020 (screw cap enclosure). My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 90 pts – recommended for its quality. Tasted at 'County in the City' event http://grapeselections.com/county-in-the-city-2014/ in Apr/14.
