Montgras Sauvignon Blanc Reserva 2008, San Antonio Valley
Sauvignon Blanc
Chile
$6.10 (58362)
One of the new breed of sauvignons from the cooler coastal regions of San Antonio; this shows lovely sweet passion fruit, cherimoya (an indigenous Chilean fruit), fine herbs, pepper and lime on the nose and palate. Mid weight and superbly fresh and balanced with fine fruit focus. A slightly salty, mineral tang on the finish calls for oysters or mussels.
