This is exactly what I look for in a dry riesling. Loads of citurs and green apple notes on the nose, along with hints of petrol and honey. On the palate, the citrus shines through with a lot of minerality. The acidity is mouth-watering and it has excellent length. Exactly what I want to drink on a hot afternoon, especially considering the 11.5% alcohol. This is what dry riesling producers in Ontario should strive to produce. Tasted July 2013.

Pale straw colour with the slightest green tinge, this Beamsville Bench estate sourced wine embodies what Ontario Riesling is all about. A fresh citrus and mineral laden nose with more citrus fruit, mineral notes, some spice, herbs and fresh acidity on the palate. Nice complexity and length with a touch of heat on the finish. 2011 was a good vintage for this varietal in Niagara and this Hidden Bench offering doesn't disappoint. Nov. 2013.

Clean, fresh and jumping out of the glass. Pale straw in colour - I get lots of floral on the nose, more lime than lemon and tons of grapefruit. I also get some stone fruit mainly white peach. The palate has more grapefruit and some great minerality and complexity. There is some racey acidity with a bit of a bite but it's softened since my last tasting.

It really begs for another glass, fantastic bottle.

Impressive effort. Would love to have more of this in my cellar, but alas it is too easy to open.

Clean and fresh aromas of lime and minerality. Lots of zesty citrus with zippy acidity on the palate that finishes with some tart lime. Well-balanced with a medium-length finish. Needs some time to soften. Tasted Nov/2012.
