Bottled just two days prior to my tasting. Intense oak and cedar aromas with some raspberry and dark fruits in the background. Has good fruit, structure and acidity, but still very tight and grippy. Tannins will settle very nicely in a couple of years. Has potential to be better than 2010. Tasted Sept/2012. Score: 90 pts.
Sour cherry, strawberry and earthy aromas. Medium-bodied with good integrated tannins. Cranberry-pomegranate flavours on the palate, some cherry as well. Nicely balanced with round mouthfeel. Smooth, medium-length finish. Tasted June/2013. Score: 88 pts.

This ruby red cab franc has the slightest hint of a purple hue (or maybe I was holding it up against the backdrop of my 1970's drapes). Cherries, spice, pepper and a suggestion of chocolate and oak from its slumber in American barrels. Light to medium bodied. Tannins soften after a breath of fresh air. Finish is a bit short and bitter. Overall, juicy, approachable and food friendly. Sept. 2013.
