Coyote's Run Pinot Noir 2010, VQA Niagara Peninsula
Pinot Noir
Ontario, Canada
$19.95 (53090)
Enticing with wild raspberry, cherry, boysenberry, woodsmoke and a touch of beetroot. Elegant, medium bodied and very dry. Though there is a marked juiciness to the fruit, the whole thing is nicely backed by smoky oak. Fleshy tannins give a plush texture and mouthfeel. Nice length. Savour with blackened beef and a side of braised Ontario beets. (VINTAGES panel, July 2012)Critic Reviews (2)
