Château Joinin 2009, Ac Bordeaux
Bordeaux (Merlot Based)
Bordeaux, France
$14.00
This is a generous, quite rich if slightly rugged young merlot-dominated Bordeaux with a fragrant roasted nose of chocolate, tobacco, cedar and dark blackberry fruit. It's medium-full bodied with a chunky, fairly tannic and dry ambiance, but there is engaging, quite rich dark bitter chocolate flavour and woodsy appeal on the finish. The length is very good. Age it another year, it should live through 2015, perhaps longer. Score: 88 (David Lawrason, WineAlign.com, Oct 2012)Critic Reviews (3)
