The 2009 Carinae Reserva Malbec, aged in French Oak for 12 months, is a medium bodied, fruity wine, with pleasing aromas of blackberry, green pepper and vanilla/oak. It has refined tannins (decant for 15 min) and a smooth, medium to long finish. Drink for the next 5+ years. My impression: NICE, 88 pts. Tasted May/12.
