Very good pricing for an Otago pinot of this quality. It pours deep vibrant ruby and sports that wonderful juicy...
Nose is quite expressive with sweet jammy cherries, raspberries and bramble along with a touch of white truffle....

Juicy, wonderful and very lively Pinot. Very bright and light ruby colour in the glass. After several hours of opening, the wine reveals fresh spritz of orange zest, cinnamon, clove, roses and heaps of cranberry and red currant fruit. Light and elegant on the attack but finishes with a velvety creaminess and usual Otago warmth of alcohol. Tons of acidity, this Pinot is so fresh and gulpable. The citrus and spice come through on the palate with a tiny bit of milk chocolate. Turkey breast w/ herb n dried cherry stuffing would suit. Drink now till 2014. Tasted Dec '11
Nice and light. Soft tannins. Candied fruit on the nose. Flavours of dark cherries and tobacco notes on the palate. Decent fnish. All inall a pretty good wine for under $20. Tasted November 2012.
Plenty of red cherries, beetroot with hints of smoke and earth. Medium bodied, perhaps a tad rough around the edges, but plenty of flavour. Not quite as over the top as some NZ pinots. Very good value in a pinot noir. Chill in the fridge just a wee bit before serving.
