The '06 "Casalferro" is a nice Super Tuscan overall. Really beautiful dark ruby color and quite fragrant with intense notes of leather, coffee, plums, and stewed cherries. You also get a lot of the the oak qualities as well. On the palate the tannins are quite firm and bitter dark chocolate is what jumped out at me the most. I was a little dissapointed at what I would deem a medium finish. Can cellar until 2017 easily. 89
