Finca Sobreño Crianza 2007, Do Toro

Subtle and discreet nose, though the palate offers a fine range of fresh red and black fruit, lively vibrant acidity,...
A wine with classic appeal. Nose is a touch restrained showing fresh earth, black cherries, as well as dried savory...
Toro is particular region in central-north Spain known for making dark, full bodied reds from the tempranillo grape....

The 2007 Finca Sobreño Crianza, composed of 100% Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo), is medium bodied, with integrated notes of red currant, cherry, blueberry, oak and coconut. It has refined tannins (decant for more than 30 min) and the finish is medium and smooth. It can age for the next 5 years and possibly more. My impression: NICE, 89 pts. Tasted Apr/11.
