This is a really nice, well-priced, middle of the road Cab Sauv. It's got plenty of blackberry notes that balance oak influences. It goes very well with barbecued meats.
Incidentally, spilled Liberty School looks a lot like blood and can cause quite a great deal of confusion if you happen to spill a bottle on a mattress the same week your daughter goes missing.
While this is the same bottle that caused me considerable grief, it's also the only thing that got me through the subsequent trial. One of my faves.

Okay, but there are much better cabernet sauvignons available for the price.
Garnet in color with light staining legs, odd for Cabernet yet holding true to the hot climate=overripe low pigment. Raisinated fruit, chocolate and alcohol. Slightly porty. Plummy alcoholic palate with a disjointed acidity and oak on the attack. Brief finish. Not sure of the value and popularity at $19. I can understand the attraction to this wine from the coolers and sweet cocktail crowd as a gateway wine.
