Lovely, medium-high intensity nose of dark red cherry, black tea, and dark red fruit aromas accented with earthy mushroom and smoky oak notes. It's dry and medium+ bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and very nice aroma replays joined by dark fruited and black cherry flavours. It's well-structured with smooth, refined, and present tannins, with very good concentration. Touch spicy on the mid-palate, along with juicy acidity, while earthy, mushroom, tea leaf, and dried herb notes linger on the long, textured finish. Tasted Jan. 2025.
