This is a very generous, ripe and fruity gamay - bordering on sweet, but showing good balancing acidity and finishing...

From over 40 year old vines, this Gamay has a fresh, medium to medium-high intensity nose of dark sour cherry, black cherry, blackberry, and ripe cranberry. It's medium to medium+ bodied on the dry palate with a creamy mouthfeel supported by rounded tannins. Crunchy, dark fruited flavours are joined by touches of stony mineral and spice which add complexity and interest. It has very good acidity, while the finish is long and crisp. Tasted Oct. 2024.
