This Italian number is beginning to show brown hues at the edges indicating some oxidation due to age. Aromas of black cherry, cinnamon, leather, and underbrush prefix the taste of raspberries and dried cherry; quite dry though it remains balanced in terms of fruit vs. acidity and will pair nicely with many tomato based pasta dishes.
