This wine didn't attract the attention of the critics and has long since vanished from LCBO shelves, but I just wanted to note that I considered it one of the best bargains of 2022. Built on a solid foundation of chardonnay with macabeo added to amp up the aromatics and acidity, this is somewhat reminiscent of some Ontario "twisted" blends, but with more structure and superior mouth feel. The screwcap closure is also a plus in my view. Hopefully, this wine will reappear in Ontario at some point, but in the meantime, I have one last bottle to enjoy. Reviewed March 2023.
