Great deal at only $25. Tried it tonight. Buy a few bottles and lay it down. John’s right, if this was priced at $50 no one would bat an eye.
Blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, this has a complex, medium+ intensity nose of ripe black currant, cedar oak spice, toasty vanilla, and hints of herb and tobacco. It is medium-full bodied with lovely aroma replays supported by balanced acidity and elegant, refined tannins. The finish is long and clean. Tasted Aug/2019.

This is a solid cool climate Bordeaux blend. Fruit is decently ripened thanks to the hot, drought 2016 vintage, but still with the tell-tale green pepper/vegetal component like many Niagara Bordeaux blends. Oak is well integrated and the finish is solid. A very good wine, just not a 90+ pointer for me. Tasted Sept 2019.
