This blend, dominated by 55% syrah, will take you straight to the south of France. It really shows off the ripe,...
This is anchored 55% on syrah which contributes lifted, smoky peppery notes, then filled in with old vine carignan...

It reminds me if you were walking down a dirt road (somewhere near a wild blueberry/ raspberry bush) & it' raining slightly, it's a bit windy so you smell the berries, but also the wet dirt, and then some how a little bit of old school wood in there...like the smell of an old church or a musty wooden floor or old books???...amazing to smell..tasted it 3 hours later - taste buds picked up berries and cold meat, after 3 hours it was smooth & easy to drink.

Finit en douceur
I held this first bottle for 2 years and on opening discover a soft nose and a heavy wine. it required a long opening, i aired it well. Dark friut a delightful soft finish for a complex layering of dark fruit and earth.
I enjoyed matching it up with a firm goat cheese salad and a bison steak with mushrooms. The second botte should hold well for at least another 14 mths. excellant value ****
Bold and medium full-bodied blended with good percentage of syrah. Fruity and a bit minty with a long finish. It is a good idea to air it for a while before drinking.
