This medium-full bodied, soft and ripe red from the south of Portugal has an almost sweet nose of blackberry jam/pie...
Plump, firm, astringent, with slightly baked fruit and average length. Tasted March 2018. Value Rating: *

The bottle that I sampled say 2016 and those people on the label are below the "Herdade Paco do Condo". Must have been a mixed shipment. Anyway, this is a very ripe, slightly jammy red from the hot south of Portugal. Some spice and oak flavours mixed in but nothing too obtrusive. Simple, and a bit short but a decent enough wine. Tasted Aug 2018.
